Hello Everyone i hope you are fine i am Nisha in this post we are going to learn about adjective  this is 3rd part of parts of speech so lets start from what is adjective ?

What is adjective ?

Def:- Adjective is a word which qualifies a noun or a pronoun in a sentence.

Or

Adjective is a qualifying word.      or

Adjective is a qualifier.

On the basis of grammar adjective are as following:-

• Proper adjective.
• Demonstrative adj..

• Distributive adjective.

• Possessive adjective.

• Interrogative adjective
• Adjective of quantity
• Adjective of number

Proper adjective:- वैसा adjective जिसका निर्माण proper noun से हाेता है।उसे proper adjective कहते है।

China – Chinese toys

India – Indian farmer

Demonstrative adjective:-वैसा adjective जो noun साथ रहकर उसे प्रदर्शित करने का काम कर adjective:-This/ those/ that/ these/ such.

Ex:-This car is new.

Distributive adjective:- वैसा adjective जो noun के साथ रहकर उसे बाट -बाट कर दर्शाता है। उसे distributive adjective कहते है।

Note:-Each/ Either/ neither/  every को distributive adjective कहते है।

Ex:-Each boy is happy.

Possessive adjective:- वैसा  adjective जो noun के साथ रहकर उसके बिच अधिकार बताता है उसे possessive adjective  कहते है।

Note:- My/ your/ his/ her/ their/ our etc.

Ex:-This is your car.

Interrogative adjective:- वैसा adjective जाे noun के साथ रहकर प्रशन पूछने का काम करता है

Ex:-Whose car is this.

Adjective of quantity:-वैसा adjective जाे noun के साथ रहकर quantity को बताता है उसे adjective of quantity कहते है।

Ex:-you have much knowledge.

Adjective of number:-वैसा adjective जो number को बताता है उसे adjective of number.

 

There are three types adjective of numbers.

 

1. Cordinal adjective

2.Ordinal adjective

3 Adjective of multitude

1. Cordinal adjective:- जब adjective को one,two,three के रूप में लिखते है उसे Cordinal adjective कहते है।

Ex:-you have two mobiles.

2.Ordinal adjective:- जब number को first, second, third के रूप में लिखा जाए उसे ordinal adjective कहते है।

Ex:-You have got the second chance.

3.Adjective of multitude:-जब adjective single, double, triple के रूप में लिखा जाए उसे adjective of multitude कहते है।

Ex:-You have double sim mobile
