Tense in English grammar and how many types of Tense
TENSE (काल)
Def:- Tense is a grammatical term in which we study the form of the verb and it shows a relation with time.
Introduction:- The word tense was originated(उत्पत्ती) from a latin word “Tempus” which means “Time”.
It has 72 structures
& It is very important for spoken & written english.
Types of Tense
- Present tense
- Past tense
- Future tense
- Present Tense
Der:- It shows the daily routine. It shows the natural phenomena(प्राकृतिक घटनाएं)

Ded:- It shows the action of the the past.
- Future Tense
Def:- It shows the action of future in a sentence.
Present Tense
(वर्तमान काल)
It shows the action of present in a sentence.
There are four kinds of Present tense:-

- Present-perfect /Non-progressive

Note:-1.Affirmative sentence में कोई H.v नहीं आता है।
Ex:-वह यहाँ आता है।

Note:- इसमें M.V नही होता है।

Ex:-वह दिल्ली नहीं जा रही है।
She is not going to delhi.

Tense
It shows the recent action.
Id:-V+चुका है।/चुकी है।/चुके ह।
1.V+या है।/यी है।/ये है।

Present perfect continuous tense
Der:-It shows the action started in the past still going in the present tense.
Id:- V+रहा है / रही है / रहे है।
V+त रहा है। / त रही है। / त रहे है।(With time)

Ex:-वह सुबह से पढ़ रहा है।
He has been reading since morning.
Ex:-वह january से यहाँ आ रहा है।
He has been coming here since january.

Ex:-वह दाे दिन से नही खा रहा है।
He has been not reading for two days.
3.Interogative
Ex:-क्या वह सुबह से पढ़ रहा है?

Name / 3rd person के sigular no के साथ।
Were:-You / we / they
Ex:-तुम पागल थे।

वह बहुत माेटा था।
